Privacy Policy for Brazilian Checkers AI & Analysis

This policy explains what information Brazilian Checkers AI & Analysis (“the App”) collects, how it is used, and your choices. The App is an offline game: it has no account or login system, no game server, and does not collect your name, email address, or other real-world identity. Your games — including the AI opponent and move analysis — run entirely on your device.

Information We Collect

• Profile: the first time you open the App it generates a random identifier and asks you to choose a username. Both are created and stored only on your device, are not linked to any real-world identity, and are never transmitted to us. They exist only to label your local profile, history, and ratings.
• Local match history: when a game you play (vs AI or on the Analysis Board) finishes, a record of it — the moves and result — is saved automatically on your device so you can review or replay it later from the History screen. We do not receive a copy: we operate no server. You can delete it at any time using “Clear all history” in the History screen, or by uninstalling the App.
• Gameplay data: your moves and board positions are processed only on your device by the built-in engine. They are never sent anywhere.
• Saved games: “Export Game” and “Load Saved Game” read and write a game file to a storage location you choose yourself, via your device’s own file picker. These files stay on your device and are never transmitted anywhere unless you choose to share them.
• Device identifier: the App reads a device identifier (such as the Android ID) and uses it only on your device — to encrypt your locally-stored data and to detect a copied data folder from another device. This identifier is not transmitted by the App and is not used for advertising or tracking.
• Technical data: the App itself does not collect precise location, contacts, camera, or microphone data, and requests no such permissions. The App requests network access only for advertising and purchases (see below); those Google services necessarily process your IP address to deliver their responses.

In-App Purchases

The App offers an optional one-time Premium upgrade (Remove Ads + Unlimited Credits). Purchases are processed entirely by Google Play Billing — we never see or store your payment details, and no purchase data is sent to us. Your Premium entitlement is held by your Google Play account, so it restores on a new device or after reinstalling.

Advertising

The App may display ads served by Google AdMob to support free play. When ads are shown, Google may collect and process data (such as advertising identifiers) under its own privacy policy, to serve relevant ads and measure performance. You can review Google’s practices at policies.google.com/privacy and manage ad personalization in your device settings. Where required (for example in the EEA/UK), a consent form is shown before ads are served, and you can change your choice later via the privacy options in the App.

Children’s Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your information — the App sends us no information to sell. Data reaches third parties only as described above: Google AdMob (if/when ads are shown) and Google Play Billing (when you purchase), each under Google’s own privacy policy — and where required by law.

Data Retention

Everything the App stores lives on your device: your profile (identifier and username), local match history, rating profile, credit and ad counters, and premium-unlock status persist in the App’s local storage until you clear them (see “Your Choices”) or uninstall. Exported game files persist wherever you saved them until you delete them yourself. We retain nothing, because nothing is sent to us.

Your Choices

You can delete your local match history at any time via “Clear all history” in the History screen, without affecting your profile. Uninstalling the App removes everything stored locally — profile, match history, ratings, credits and unlocks — except game files you exported to your own storage.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected with a new effective date at the top of this page.
