Privacy Policy

Puzzleshire · MMC Solo Dev · Last updated 2 October 2026

The short version: Puzzleshire collects nothing. There are no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no crash reporting, and the app has no server to send anything to. Your progress, scores and settings stay on your PC. The only network activity is the Microsoft Store checking your purchase, which Windows handles for every Store app.

Who this covers

This policy applies to Puzzleshire, the collection of puzzle, card and board games published by MMC Solo Dev on the Microsoft Store:

What we collect: nothing

Puzzleshire does not collect, transmit, sell or share any personal information. It contains no advertising, no analytics or tracking code and no crash-reporting service, and it does not ask you to sign in or create an account. The developer receives no data from the app at all.

The games play entirely offline. The app does not use your location, contacts, files, photos, microphone or camera, and it asks Windows for no special permissions beyond the standard ones every desktop app has.

Information stored on your PC

So that the games remember where you were, Puzzleshire saves a small amount of information in its own app data folder on your PC. It never leaves your PC, and Windows deletes it when you uninstall the app.

WhatWhy
Games in progress So you can continue a game where you left off.
Statistics: games played and won, win streaks, best scores and times Shown in the game menus, per game and difficulty.
Daily challenge progress and streak To mark which daily puzzles you have completed and count your streak.
Settings: sound on or off, card colours, last difficulty chosen To restore your preferences next time.

The daily challenge uses your PC's date to pick the day's puzzle. The date is not sent anywhere.

Microsoft Store and your purchase

Puzzleshire is sold through the Microsoft Store. Buying, downloading, updating and refunding the app are handled by Microsoft, under the Microsoft Privacy Statement.

When Puzzleshire starts, it asks Windows whether this PC has a valid licence for the app, so that a copy cannot simply be moved to another computer. Windows and the Microsoft Store answer that question from your Microsoft account; Puzzleshire only receives a yes or no. The developer is not told who you are and receives no data from this check, beyond the aggregated sales and install figures Microsoft provides to every publisher in Partner Center.

Children

Puzzleshire is suitable for all ages. Because the app collects no personal information from anyone, it collects none from children either.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about you, there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete. Everything the app stores is on your PC and yours to remove: uninstall Puzzleshire to erase all of it.

Changes to this policy

If the app's data practices change, this page will be updated and the "last updated" date at the top will change with it.
